This charming Bergerie dating back to the nineteenth century provides a great base for an unforgettable vacation on the Côte d’Azur in France. Set in an elevated position it offers incredible views facing Bar-sur-Loup and Gourdon, overlooking ‘Les Gorges du Loup’ in the valley. The location is very peaceful and surrounded by glorious villages and towns typical for the French Riviera – St Paul de Vence, Tourettes-sur-Loup, Valbonne, Grasse and many other cities and villages can be reached in 15-20 minutes. Nice Airport is 30 min away and the famous cities of the French Riviera Antibes, Cannes and Nice are reachable in 45 minutes. Quicker off season.
The old stone house and its guest house are fully restored to modern living standards and is comfortable for 6+ guests. The property has three large bedrooms (air-conditioned) and three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with an open fire place and a utility room. The peaceful garden houses a large parking area, an outside kitchen with bbq and a dining/seating area for late evenings outside. Steps take you up to the swimming pool terrace with a pool house where a well-kept garden is designed to guarantee privacy while enjoying morning coffee, an afternoon cocktail or a dip in the pool.
A vacation week or two will be over before you know it… foodies can enjoy the many excellent restaurants in the region or browse the local markets for fresh produce to enjoy at home. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the hiking trails and canyoning in the valley directly in front of the Bergerie and water sports enthusiasts are only a short drive away from the Mediterranean Sea or Lac de Saint-Cassien. Golf courses, museums and multiple shopping opportunities round off the offering in the region but of course the Bergerie is very suitable for those who just want to catch up on their reading or work from home.
